I have been making and decorating wedding and celebration cakes for over 20 years, having had my formal training within my parents’ bakery in north Devon.
In addition to this training I have been awarded a City & Guilds Distinction for the preparation and use of royal icing and for the use of almond paste.
During my career I have gained numerous prizes and awards for my work, including The Western Bakery Championships in 2007-2008. I am really proud of these awards as the competitions covered entries from all over the South West, with the standard of entrants being extremely high.
All my cakes are made to the highest standard with the very best ingredients available and are prepared within premises that are registered with Torridge District Council.
On occasions the brides mother or other relative will wish to bake the wedding cake themselves, but often feel uncomfortable with the thought of icing and decorating. I am only to pleased to disscuss this with you and revise my costings to suit your requirements.
